New Chairman – Ken Doyle

Congratulations to Mr. Ken Doyle (right) who took up his position as the new chairman of Bandon AFC.

Ken was voted in during last Thursday night’s AGM which was held in the The Old Market Bar. Ken takes over responsibilities from Mr. Tony O’Leary (left) who finished his term in the chair where he worked very hard to ensure that the club was in a very healthy position and back once again in the MSL Premier league.

On finishing his term, Tony expressed his heartfelt thanks to all at the club; committee members, managers and coaches, players, parents and all the volunteers for their support and assistance during the past year.

Ken is a long standing and respected member of the club having also been a excellent player in the past. With many years as both a Bandon AFC and Munster Senior League committee member, Ken will bring a wealth of experience and passion to the role. Upon taking up his chairmanship, Ken congratulated Tony on his successful term, thanking him on behalf of the committee and members for his leadership over the past 12 months.

We’d like to wish Ken the very best in his new position as he leads us on to further success!.
