The Seniors took on a Midleton side, who had been beaten 2-0 by Cork City in the 3rd rd. of the F.A.I. cup only a few weeks previous, in the final group game in the Keane Cup knowing they had to win to progress to the quarter finals. The game was played on Sept. 3rd with Bandon winning 5 - 0
