U13 Girls vs Avondale – Sept 2019

Bandon win 6-0
Bandon started there second game in three day with a early strike from
distance from the boot of Maggie France. Avondale applied pressure and
nearly got a equaliser only to denied by Lauren Kingston in goal.
Bandon wingers of Clare o riordan and caoimhe foley caused the Avondale
back like trouble with there quick pace and brilliant ball control.
Bandon second goal game from the boot of niamh cotter after she ran threw
to beat the Avondale keeper. Brilliant pressure from Hannah France and
Evelyn Mccarthy lead to a bandon corner. Avondale cleared the corner and it
feel to the boot of caoimhe foley who first time volleyed it past the
keeper.
Avondale once again came at the bandon defence of Kate o Leary , andie
Desmond and Monica Craig, with meave Mccarthy putting in a last minute
challenge.
Bandon went on another attack and cotter once again went threw on goal and
stroke past the Avondale keeper.
Shona croinn , who came on scored a beautiful strike with her left foot on
her first touch of the game.
5-0 half time
The second half started with bandon making positional changes and the subs
made a impact right from the off.
Anna Crowley ball to the feet of croinn caused trouble and from a tight angle
croinn finshed.
Bandon held out the Avondale attack with Kate o hallroan and Ava Troy
solid in defence. Ella Mccarthy, caoimhe o Sullivan both applied plenty of
pressure in the Avondale half with Mira also giving the Avondale defence
trouble.
Overall an excellent performance and clean sheet from bandon girls with
there , second game in three days.
