U13 Girls vs Ballincollig – 3rd September 2019 – Div 1

Bandon started their first game back after the mid season break sluggish. They got their first goal from a Niamh Cotter strike from distance. Ballincollig replied immediately.

1-1 at half time. Bandon came out in the second half in this top of the table clash fighting for everything. They got their reward when Niamh Cotter struck once again this time inside the box.
Ballincollig again didn’t panic and scored immediately. Bandon kept fighting and an excellent set up on the wing by Evelyn McCarthy was converted by Caoimhe Foley. It was
3-2 and game on! Bandon settled in this top of the table clash and began to play football and got their rewards with a free kick on the edge of the box which Cotter hit on target for the keeper to save into the path of Evelyn McCarthy who slotted home
4-2. Bandon defence stood tall and Andie Desmond commanded the back line along with keeper Lauren Kingston. Cotter struck again with a excellent left foot finish. Overall was a great performance and another 3 points in Bandon campaign.
