Bandon u13 girls travelled to Cobh to take on Springfield ramblers.
Bandon started the game strong, and pushed for an early goal and it came
from a strike from distance from the inform Maggie France.
Springfield pushed on for a equaliser but keeper for the day Monica Craig
and her back line of Kate O Halloran , meave Mccarthy, andie Desmond and
Clare riordan stood strong to the ramblers attacks.
Bandon, pressed to get a second before half time and strikes from shona
croinn and Evelyn Mccarthy we’re cleared. Caoimhe’s foley who has 3 goals
in 3 games strike was to strong for the impressive ramblers keeper.

Second half bandon started brightly and niamh cotter along with Clodagh
Barry took on the ramblers defenders from deep. Cotter gained the ball on
the half way line and drove at the defence and took a strike from the wide
right which beat the keeper
Hannah France and Ava Troy both made great impacts from the bench with
Troy standing story in the back line and France putting pressure on the
opposition back line. Maggie France took another strike from distance
which took a slight deflectionton to take it away from the keeper.
France got her hat trick with a strike once again from outside the box.
The France sisters combined for bandon 6th goal and finishing off a great
performance Maggie got her 4th from distance. Ramblers never gave up and
kept the bandon back line on there toes for the remaining minutes
Bandon held out to claim the 3 points and clean sheet on the road
