U14 Girls CWSSL Cup Runners-up

Congratulations to our U14 Girls squad, Denis Harrington, Kate O’Donoghue and Aine O’Donoghue who were runners-up in the CWSSL Cup in a hard fought game against Riverstown in Turners Cross.

The Bandon girls matched the Premier side in a very entertaining match in front of their many travelling fans. Kate McLaughlin’s fine lob over the Riverstown goalie brought the game level after an early goal from Riverstown. The 2nd half belonged to Bandon with several chances to go ahead but unfortunately, late in the game Riverstown scored to go 2-1 ahead.

The experience of the day and their fine performance in Turner’s Cross will stand to the girls for next season.

Again well done to all, you should be very proud of your achievement!
