Bandon U12 girls put in a battling performance in Kinsale, losing 3-0 in a match played in strong winds and heavy rain showers at times. Forced to play without some of the teams regulars, the girls none the less played well and were very unlucky on a number of occasions not to score.
Bandon were 2-0 down at half-time, having played into a strong wind, and conceded another in the 2nd half, at a time when they were pressing to get a goal back. The girls are still awaiting to collect their first points of the season, but with a home game to come on November 16th, hopes are high of a good performance and the first win of the year. Veronica Andepau was captain for the day, with the rest of the panel being Maeve O’ Driscoll, Emily Bolster, Aoife Harrington, Orla Trunwitt, Laura Barr, Holly Warren, Emily Holland, Anna Daly, Jolie McCabe and Rachel Kearney.
